This collection was designed for the Lancome Colour Design Awards in 2006. Combining textile techniques with sculptural forms, this collection includes the germination of ideas Donna has since explored in her developing work.
The design process for this collection included the integral usage of collage techniques, where images from historical tailored patterns were used in abstracted combination to develop new garment forms. This collection also involved the use of sculptural form, and materials which allowed this development, including industrial felt and pleating techniques. The use of light and various transparencies has also proven critical to the developing work.
