Colour Studies 1 is a series of 8 pencil drawings. Drawing is an ongoing and important part of my practice. As a slow activity it is something I do when I need to reflect and think. Exploring juxtapositions of colour to create movement in a surface is a recurring theme. Drawing is further developed through digital manipulation into textile print.
Each drawing measures 10cm x 10cm. Coloured pencil.
